Earthquakes..


PALMER, Alaska - A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit the waters in the Kodiak Island region.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the quake occurred at 8:54 p.m. Wednesday about 46 miles south of Homer but apparently caused no damage.
The earthquake was 31 miles deep.
The information center says residents in Homer, Anchor Point, Seward and Soldotna reported feeling the ground move.
